Dr. Jackie Bruce is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education at North Carolina State University. At NC State, Jackie teaches courses in organizational behavior, youth leadership development and qualitative research methods. Prior to joining the Wolfpack, she spent 4 1/2 years as an Extension Specialist in Youth Leadership Development at Penn State University.
Jackie's research interests are in the areas of leadership skill acquisition, development and evaluation of youth leadership opportunities and efficacy of leadership training environments.
When not teaching or working with students, Jackie can be found spending time with her husband Danny and daughter Ainslee Mae. She loves a great book, strong cup of tea and Italian cooking! She roots for her beloved Colorado State Rams (B.A. Political Science '97 and M.Ag. Extension Ed '00) and Texas A & M Aggies (PhD Ag Education '03) from Holly Springs, NC.
