Fort Hays State University invites applications for a full-time Instructor or Assistant Professor position in the Department of Leadership Studies beginning in Fall 2019.  This position will be located in China teaching in one of the only Organizational Leadership degree programs offered in the country.  Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate leadership studies theoretical and behavioral coursework to Chinese students enrolled at FHSU.  Limited scholarship, departmental, and university service work will accompany this position.

A highly rated candidate will be a dynamic leadership educator with an interest in or experience working in cross-cultural environments or specifically in China.  This position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a vibrant, developing culture teaching in a unique program. 

Successful candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in Leadership Studies or a closely related discipline.  A terminal degree is preferred but not required.  Teaching experience in Leadership Studies is preferred, but candidates with no teaching experience will be considered and are encouraged to apply. All coursework is taught in English, so Mandarin Chinese fluency is preferable, but certainly not mandatory.
