Guiding the Leaders of Tomorrow

Awards

The Association of Leadership Educators is the intersection for teaching, learning, research, facilitation, and development of leadership education. Our members are innovative, collaborative professionals and deserve to be recognized for their many accomplishments to the field. There are three types of awards granted by the Association of Leadership Educators:

      • Annual Awards: Annual awards are given to members for their dedication and service to the field of education. Nominations are sought in January, and awards are presented in-person at our annual conference.
      • Mini-Grants: The mini-grants program supports new initiatives that advance the ALE vision of the exchange and development of quality ideas, scholarship, and practice that impacts the field of leadership education. The annual application cycle occurs in the fall.
      • Conference Awards: Presenters from far and wide participate in our annual conference concurrent sessions. Conference awards recognize the effort and quality of presenters of posters, workshops, and research and practice manuscripts.

Note: Annual Awards and Mini-Grants are a member benefit; only current, dues-paid ALE members are eligible.

Questions regarding awards and recognition should be directed to:

Jason Headrick (jason.headrick@ttu.edu) or Anna Whitehall (awhitehall@wsu.edu)
