Conference Registration

ALE membership fees are not included in conference registration rates.

Conference Add-Ons

  • Awards Dinner & Celebration Guest Tickets: Please join us as we highlight our members many achievements and celebrate our great Association! The Awards Dinner & Celebration is included in registration for conference attendees only.  Any guests much purchase an additional ticket(s). Use the Guest Tickets form to purchase extra tickets, separate from registration.
    **For those wishing to bring children - please email Brittany (ALEConferenceChair@gmail.com) before
     registering to ask about the cost of their ticket**

  • Pre-Conference Workshop - Beyond the Shadows: Shedding Light on Leadership Possibilities:  Join us as we step beyond the shadows and illuminate the vast leadership possibilities that await in higher education administration. This is an additional event, not included in conference registration.

  • Leading by the Glass - Wine Tasting: Hosted by ALE's very own Certified Wine Sommelier and Certified Wine Educator, Keith Herndon! Please join us for a wine tasting featuring California wines. Cheese/snacks will accompany the wines. This is an additional event, not included in the price of registration. ALE’s own wine expert, Keith Herndon, will lead a tasting of two white and two red wines along with an artisanal cheese pairing on Monday evening at 5pm. Seating is limited to 42 participants, so grab your ticket early. All proceeds from this event will go to the Association! Herndon, a professor at the University of Georgia, is also a certified wine sommelier and certified wine educator through training with the Asia Pacific Wine and Spirit Institute. He and cohost Charlotte Varnum produce Wines We Drink, an annual summer podcast, which was named Best Food or Drink podcast and Best Lifestyle podcast at the 15th Annual Taste Awards. Herndon's book, Wine Conversations: Exploring Meaning, Mystery and Myth, was published in January by Innovative Ink Publishing. 
  • Donate to the Founder's Student Scholar Award Fund: This fund supports the Association's ability to offer free registration to four graduate or undergraduate students presenting at our annual conference.


Registration Policy

  • All conference attendees, including presenters and speakers, must be registered to attend.
  • Registration fees do not include ALE memberships. If you wish to join prior to registration, please click here.
  • To qualify for the student rate, you must be a undergraduate or graduate student who is not employed full-time.
  • To qualify for the retiree rate, you must have retired from your professional career, not be employed full-time, and be at least 65 years of age.
  • Registration payment is required within 30 days of registration. Unpaid registrations more than 30 days old are subject to deletion with or without notice to the registrant.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations received a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the conference will be refunded, less a fee of 50% of the registration cost. Cancellation requests must be sent to ALEConferenceChair@gmail.com
